Ammar has had 20 years of experience in HR in the United Arab Emirates, both in the corporate world, working as a head of HR in a major Oil & Gas company, as well as local and Federal Government, advising CEO’s and Ministers on the development of their HR strategies and plans.


With an academic background in Economics from the University of Kent, and a postgraduate degree in Law from the University of London, Ammar brings a more rounded and generalist approach to HR issues. He has been involved in the development of academic programmes, having chaired the Programme Advisory.

Committee for Business Programmes at the Higher Colleges of Technology for 12 years. He teaches at several local institutes of higher education in the fields of Business Management, Ethics & Presprective's of Arab History.

Ammar has presented several papers on the subject of Nationalization, and has had an admirable track record in putting his plans into practice. He has been invited to speak on the subject at several conferences, as well as the Policy Council of the Higher Colleges of Technology. He is a lead auditor for the Dubai Human Development Award, the Government sponsored award given to those companies recognized for implementing best practices in the area of National Development.


Manal has been working in the human resources field for the past 17 years in the UAE and Saudi Arabia in several industries including aviation, hospitality and health care. Since April 2007, Manal has joined Al Bab Al Sharqi team as an HR consultant in occupational assessment,


With an academic background in Applied Psychology from Univertisity of London coupled with professional qualifications from the British Psychological Society in Occupational Assessment and from the UK Chartered institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) in HR Management, Manal has been tasked to evaluate and make recommendations for the recruitment and development of Chief Executives, as well as Managers and Senior Personnel.

This has been in both the Private Sector, as well as the Public Sector, most recently, assisting the Government of Dubai to evaluate their HR resources while redesigning the Education sector.

She has also been involved in the design, development, monitoring, and implementation of HR strategies, in line with corporate strategies in several organizations, including Amiri Flight in Abu Dhabi, and the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage.
